Meet Brian Gallardo, Founder of The Virtual Dog Trainer
I help dedicated dog owners build reliable, real-world obedience by teaching them to become their dog’s trainer. Before The Virtual Dog Trainer existed, I spent years doing this work in person, in homes, on sidewalks and in parks.
From New York City to Tampa: Years of Hands-On Dog Training
I started training dogs professionally in 2017 in New York City. Busy streets, constant distractions and tight living spaces taught me quickly that obedience only matters if it holds up in the real world.
In 2019 I founded Awoken K9, an in-home dog training company in Tampa, FL. Since then, my team and I have worked one-on-one with dogs and their families across South Tampa, Bayshore, Brandon, Riverview, Valrico, Lutz, Wesley Chapel and Clearwater. We’ve handled everything from puppy manners and leash pulling to jumping, barking, poor recall, reactivity and serious aggression cases.
